  I’m a graphic design student at South Dakota State, and I’ve been assigned to create a book cover using only two spot colors. I would like to use a real photo and convert it to a black spot color, and use a bright, light teal, or just another color on top of that but i have no idea how to do that in photoshop or if it even can be done…any help would be AWESOME….(also if you know how to use two spot colors and blending them to create a variety of colors with just the two spot colors that’d be amazing as well) THANKS

  I like the guide to designing with black. If you first master black and simultaneous contrast you can move on to color with a stronger creative toolbox to use. :)
