Thanks for this collection. Whilst I agree that current trends are important, for most organisations it’s more important to have a logo that is “timeless”, otherwise it can quickly look dated.

I usually keep a Logo Lounge book close by for inspiration and it’s good to see what they thought the latest trends of 2010 were. I’ve noticed over the last few years a change in logo design styles.

That Silent Army Apparel logo is so rad. Surprisingly, I just used a color transparency effect on a logo for one of my clients.

It’s interesting to see people starting to push the boundaries of logo design. I’m sure some logo design purists do not like all the gradients, blurs, and distortions though.
