On a similar note, I just found out that two of my logos designed for Ruff Club and PharmSouth are going to be featured in the book Logo Lounge 8, which will be my 5th time featured in one of their inspirational books. Always an honour!

  1. Jacob, you have shared some famous logo design trends for the year of 2013, but currently The Crosses Logo Design trends are followed by the peoples. Anyway, both of your logos are impressive and according to modern design trends.

  2. Nice insights but the trends are so generic .For logos , playing with text and using negative spaces in texts are also going to be popular in the next few years .

    • Actually, this has to be the only trend that was always popular.

      On topic, great collection.

  3. Congratulations on the publication of your work sir, and thank you for sharing a plethora of other designs.

  4. Yeah , this was a great article i really need to get on getting a logo made for my site thanks for some great examples

  5. Logo design is an important area of graphic design, and one of the most difficult to perfect. A unique logo plays an important role in marketing of your Business.

  6. You know looking over this I can’t help but think its looking back at the last 2 years. I think the predictions for 2012 are more accurate for this coming year. Its just me and my friends have been joking since august about the seals and the crossed logos just for instance.

  7. some great logos there,as long as a logo is designed to the business you cant go wrong.i love clean fresh logos without to much going on.simple is always better in the longrun.

  8. Nice logos. I love making logos but with fonts only. Thanks for sharing these logos. I will learn from this about how to use my mind at the full potential. Thanks.

  9. These are awful. Following trends is a bad idea. Curating logos into trends is very helpful as it shows us what to avoid. And these examples are a low bar. Side note: at the top, your copy reads, “effect” you, which should be “affect” you. Sorry to be a downer. Very rare occurrence for my comments.

  10. In regards to following/creating trends…I can honestly say that at no point during the Pharmabond project did I thought about eyelets.

The thing to remember about the Logolounge trends report is that it’s not absolute, just a summation of what’s been uploaded within that season i.e. A logo developed 50 years ago can be considered as part of a 2013 trend. In regards to ‘following’ a trend, I think it’s taken more from the specifics of the brief (unless it’s conceptual) rather then asthetic approach/technique.

  11. What I would say I think most of these logo designs have in common (which I enjoy about them) is that they all are very simplistic and take advantage of positive and negatives space as well as shape to catch and keep our attention. Great overall round up!

  12. Some of these logo designs are great. Especially the simple designs that incorporate what the company is all about and might have a little twist by using negative space that makes you think before realizing how creative the design is. A major part of developing a successful brand is to have a simple, attractive logo that clearly portrays the company’s focus.

  13. Thanks for posting a brilliant information. I really too happy to read it. So much necessary information i’ll get from these topic. Thanks once again……………..

  14. Beautiful works, The logos are really trendy!

I just stumbled upon a great online logo design site, It’s called http://www.logogenie.net

I managed to design a cool looking logo in a few minutes, they’ve got super easy design tools and plenty of examples so you can inspire yourself before starting.

  15. brilliant work by designers. I like the Bracketing trend, so unique and colorful.
Thanks Jacob for sharing this article.

  16. Awesome Logo, Now i have some inspiration for my logo. i think i’ll try The Membrane Logo Design Trend

  17. Really amazing logo designs you have shared with us. The logo design should be unique, appealing and memorable in order to grab the attention of your target audience.

  18. Wow; very nice. I really did not think that companies would go to these design lengths on their annual reports.

  19. I am late here but I think this is good for me to understand some key points from these trends.

  20. Firstly, I must say that the logos that you have designed are good. Secondly, the trends that you shared are cool. My personal favorite is the wave trend. They provide inspiration and a head start in your mind. However, for expert logo designing, I would seek assistance from professionals. I came across some positive and recommended logo designing. Check this at http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Craftive-Reviews-E826219.htm .

  21. A lot of people think they know how to do graphic design, but only a few of them actually doing it the right way!

    This is amazing!!!

  22. Hi author I always get excited when it comes to logo making as it needs a hell of creativity and the thoughts of the company are to be presented in a form of a design. This design becomes the face of a brand or a company.

  23. Big respect for your job especially for The Line Craft Logo Design Trend.Nice collection for every taste!
