Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Left or Right Brained?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most of us would see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

So do you know the whole deal between the left and right brain? The left brain is more math based and the right brain is more creative.

The first time I did this test I saw it go anti clockwise and then the second time I saw it clockwise – whatever that means I do not know. I’m an even brained individual.

To compare and see what each side of the brain does visit right brain VS the left brain.

  1. Wow – that’s really cool! 😀 The first time I looked I saw the figure moving clockwise, the second counter-clockwise.

But… If I focus my eyes slightly below the image, and bend my brain in the same way I do with those Magic Eye pictures, then I can make it switch directions at will!

  2. This is weird, I can only see it turning clockwise when I look straight at the image.

If i scrool down so only from the knees down are showing and I focus on the digg icon, then it turns anti. I think maybe im only artistic from the knees up.

    GREAT BLOG BTW!!

  3. lol guys this is retarded.

its a looped animation and it changes direction once finished.

look at it long enough and it will change direction right in front of u.

dont be fooled by these things man.

    be smart

  4. That’s cool, I immediately saw it as clockwise.
great now I have an excuse to why I suck at maths 🙂

    Vectors’s last blog post..Vintage Aircraft

  5. When I first saw it, it was going clockwise, then while reading below I looked at it again it was in the anti-clockwise, concentrated on it a bit, back to clockwise.

  6. I saw this a while back and couldn’t for the life of me make her change direction to anti-clockwise but when I was reading your description she started turning the other way – weird!

  7. cyanical is right, it has nothing to do with which side of your brain you use more. just look at which foot she’s spinning on 😛
